The Quartering Act was passed in 1765 and required all colonists to allow british soldiers in America live in their houses until they were called back to Britain. The colonists' rebellion was ignored, but the rebellious acts that occured were refusing to let britsh soldiers live with them, making fun of british soldiers, and even beating and shooting british soldiers.
